2008 was not that long ago. It appears that the only lesson learned is that Wall Street is keeping the party going knowing that the politicians are bought and paid for.

The only difference this time is that a Wall Street bailout is not politically sellable. It was the middle class who picked up the bill last time and they still have yet to recover.

The over financialization of our economy has brought nothing but income disparity and inflationary ruin. None of the resulting prosperity has been real. It is all engineered due to artificially low interest rates going back to Alan Greenspan.

Now the world economy is like a fentanyl addict hooked on cheap credit.
