Gold is being artificially held down by the investment banks through trading manipulation. There have been some handslap lawsuits and fines but these investment banks handle the treasury bill auctions and have a faustian pact with the state and fiat money creation. Gold is a bet against the system and the system has more resources to perpetuate itself than you and I do betting against it.
