I don’t believe you can rush a good novel. The various reading mediums all have their own timetables whose rules don’t apply to each other. At some point you have to hook the reader. It’s up to the writer to know their medium and know when that is.

Reading a novel brings a very different series of rewards than reading online. Book readers don’t have to get away from their novels like online readers need to detox from their device or screen.

Reading a novel on an electronic medium literally hurts. Not so for a book.
