I live in Canada. I’m white and my wife is Asian. I floated moving to a small town under an hour away earlier in our marriage to no avail. She doesn’t drive and didn’t want to be among the only women of colour in a very white town. Housing costs where I live are so far out of reach it isn’t worth looking any more.
