I once read about a true crime case where one of the motives for murder was the accomplice's obsession with having a mixed race child. The plotters poisoned the husband and were going to run off and have a mixed child through artificial insemination before being brought to justice.

There is a scientific medical term for this disorder but I have been unable to find it in my version of the DSM.
