It is easy to forget that it is primarily western democracies that have racial equality enshrined in law. Very few nations openly invite the peoples of the world to form melting pot societies like North America and Western Europe. As much as there is fatigue with political correctness, is has brought about a greater civility.

I appreciate your article pointing out that nothing is as clear cut in the Ukraine as we are led to believe. One of Russia's justifications for the invasion is the persecution of ethnic Russians. The existence of groups like Azov make this all the more believable. If Azov's belief system is representative of Ukrainian society, the west cannot support this in good conscience.
