Quebec is a cultural and linguistic minority like the eastern European and Scandinavian countries. As such, it can be overwhelmed by mass immigration. It has diametrically different societal aspirations than melting pot ROC. If Quebec's share of the national population keeps dropping to the point where it loses influence over the federal agenda, I expect it will separate.
